Sleep: depth is more important than duration, especially later in life

UC Berkeley neuroscience researchers have discovered that sleep is fundamental to good mental and physical health.

Sleep, it seems, is the foundation of good health, especially as we get older.

It seems also that the quality (depth) of your sleep is more important that the duration. This is even better news for those of us who struggle to get the 8 hours in.

So sleep well – as a lot more than your dreams depend upon it.
